Griddle grill instructions
1.) Prep grill
Remove grill cover and set to the side, a safe distance from the grill.
Ensure all gas burner control valves are in the off position.
Check the grease trap (located below the burners), empty out if needed.
2.) Ignite grill
Open lid during lighting or re-lighting.
Turn ON propane gas tank by turning knob clockwise.
To ignite, push and turn IGNITION BURNER knob to HIGH. Immediately, push and hold ELECTRONIC IGNITOR button until the burner lights.
If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, turn the burner controls off, wait 5 minutes and repeat the lighting procedure.
To ignite remaining burners, push and turn knob to the HIGH position starting with the burners closest to the IGNITION BURNER first.
Heat grill for 5 minutes, then adjust burners to desired temperature.
3.) Cooking on the grill
Once grill is up to temperature, use oil on the surface and place food directly on the griddle.
Use metal spatulas, tongs, or grill tools designed for griddle surfaces (can be found in the kitchen drawers by the sink).
Manage grease by directing it to the grease trap/cup. Monitor the cup to avoid overflow.
For safety, keep handles of cookware away from burner flames and children.
4.) Shutting down and cleaning
After cooking, turn burner knobs to “OFF” and close the propane tank valve by turning the knob counter clockwise.
Let the griddle cool slightly, but clean while still warm for easiest removal of food residue. Do NOT use soap on the griddle to clean.
Scrape excess food/debris into the grease trap with a scraper.
Use a paper towel to wipe excess oil and debris from the warm surface.
For more stubborn spots, use water sparingly and steam-clean with a spatula (never use soap, as it can remove seasoning).
Empty the grease trap into the trash can and wash it separately.
Cover the griddle once fully cool and store propane tank.
Safety reminders
When grill is not in use, turn off all control knobs and propane tank.
Never move grill while in operation or still hot.

The grease tray or cup must be installed during use and emptied after each use.
Do not remove grease tray or cup until grill has completely cooled.
Clean after each cookout.
